Introduction
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Sandhan Trust organized a one day seminar at Katni on 8th March 2025 to highlight the role of women in social, economic and political empowerment. The aim of the seminar was to inspire, educate and engage women in discussions about their rights, opportunities and challenges.
Objectives
✔ To celebrate the achievements of women in various fields.
✔ To discuss gender equality, legal rights and financial independence.
✔ To encourage women’s participation in entrepreneurship and leadership.
✔ To raise awareness about health, education and self-reliance.
Key Activities and Sessions
The event was inaugurated with a welcome address by Aarti Shukla.
Dr. Rakesh Ranjan elaborated on “Role of Women in Nation Building” and Ms. Saroj Tiwari spoke on legal rights.
